Having owned an iPad 4 and the last two Nexus 7 models, my experience is that overall Nexus and Google have the edge in value offered vs. total cost of ownership.
iPad was my number one for a good amount of time, however, things changed and Google has played very energetically, delivered improved value, and their tools work really well.
I question all the other Apple pundits that have continued to knock the Nexus 7 down, while Apple has not done well at all. Does seem rather absurd and cultish of them.
This article by Jamie Rodgers is both fair and factual.
I intend to keep my iPad 4, but will buy a couple more Nexus 7′s for my friends Xmas gifts. It is a great deal, and Google is really delivering value.
What has happened to Apple? I miss Steve!!!
